Number of converts to Catholicism

Has there been an increase in the number of conversions to Catholicism since traditional Catholicism is more widespread?

How many convert each year?

Is there anywhere I can find those statistics?
 
I don’t know if there is a nation wide number, but in my dicoese this year there are 78 Catechumen and 238 Canidates. I have heard of diocese with numbers over 1000.
 
I can’t give an exact figure, but someone told me that there are around 7,000 people in Africa converting to Catholicism every month or so.
 
Speaking for myself, last year my reconversion to the Faith had a lot to do with the excellent presentation of the traditional Faith given by Traditionalists, namely the SSPX. I’ve managed to bring my wife to the Faith as well, and Traditionalist presentations and perspectives truly hit home with her as well, and she’s from a very modernistic Lutheran background; in her heart, she just knows and believes that not just Catholicism is the truth, but the Traditionalist perspective on it is the most correct, or at least the most vibrant expression of the Faith.

The Traditionalist zeal and fire for the Faith, coupled with their adherence to the tried-and-true spiritual disciplines and adornments that served Western civilization so very well, truly brings something powerful along with it. It is not hard at all to see how Traditional Catholicism can win over so many converts and reverts.

Now if we can only get those Modernists and liberals to convert back to the Faith 😉

There are about 19 million new Catholics per year worldwide. Thats 190 million every 10 years. That’s more than the total membership of most of the Christian denominations:
