in light of the number of cesarean operations possible thread i thought i’d start an opposite thread.

i know that Mrs. Duggar from Arkansas has had many VBACs. I think she had 11 VBACs after her 1st cesarean and her most recent birth (#16) was a VBA2C after her 2nd cesarean

anyone else know of a good story like that

I have a friend that is on her sixth pregnancy and she’s doing VBAC’s… her very first delivery was a c-section due to complications. She’s planning on having more children, so she’ll continue to have VBAC’s as she hates and despises hospitals and thinks all docs and nurses are idiots.

I’ve seen VBA2C twice now… what does it mean? a VBAC after two c-sections?? :o

My 3rd was a c-sec and the following 4 were VBACs.

We plan on making this pregnancy end in another VBAC, but it was very hard finding a dr/hospital that would allow me to do so even after 4 completely uncomplicated VBACS!

**Don’t get me started on that!  🙂 **

Kimberly Hahn has six children (as far as I know) and I think her last two were VBACs–I’m not entirely sure, I’d have to look it up, but if you have her book “Lifegiving Love” she talks about how disappointed she was to have several c-sections and then the joy (for her) of finally a vaginal birth. I think she had at LEAST three sections first though, if not four…

my aunt had her first two c sectioned and was able to have her second two v bac and all went very good.

My sister in law had her first c section and her second v bac and she is so glad she was able to and she said the recovery time was so much faster!
I agree with that, my first 3 were vag deliveries and my 4th was a emergency c section, what a nightmare and the recovery was forever or so it seemed, oh, the pain I was in, it was yucky.

I now totally understand why women want to do the vbac, after having a c section, duh, vag is much easier.

I don’t get these starts having c sections all the time, are they nuts?? ouch!!
