oath or vow

need help categorizing this

if (in the privacy of my own room) I pray to God, “God, I swear I won’t drink alcohol for the next week to lessen my attachment to it,” is that a vow, an oath, or both?

I’ve seen the catholic encyclopedia stuff but that stuffs a little over my head. still a little fuzzy on the issue
