Obama to give Notre Dame commencement

It was announced last week that Mr. Obama is scheduled to deliver the commencement address to this year’s graduating class at the University of Notre Dame. If others like me are outraged at the thought of this man- whose social policies are completely antithetical to church teaching- presenting at a “Catholic” university, please state so.

An afterthought. If this goes ahead let’s pray that it plants a seed in Obama’s heart, a feeling for Catholics that leads him to be more open to Catholic concerns and beliefs.
