Here is my situation. I have a double papasan chair that I gave to the church that my family belonged to while we were living in Williamsville, New York back in 2003/2004. After completing my sophomore year of college at Minnesota State University I wanted the papasan chair back. My family was looking to give away matching a couch and a love seat,so I called my mom up and asked her if she could make the switch. She did and for my junior year I had the papasan chair in my dorm room. It’s been about five years since I asked for the papasan chair back and it’s been about four years since my family has lived in Williamsville, New York. I know feel really bad about taking something back that I gave to the youth group. I would like to drive out there and return it or send it by freight but my parent’s are telling me that I don’t need to or something like that, they think I should just donate it to a church in or around where I live. Do I obey my parent’s or do I obey my conscience/guilt?
NOTE: I currently live in western Wisconsin and my family no longer lives in Williamsville, New York.
