Obsessions about faith

So, I have had OCD since I was a kid. Now, the form of it that’s affecting me is the scrupulosity. The thing is I have always liked science and now I’m thinking at many conspiracy theories, that say that the most successful people were actually controlled by the illuminati or that they were, somehow, satanists. And I’m just scared, and the OCD voice just told me that if I’m going to pray to God right now, satan will take everything from me (including gifts given by God - gifts like talents, etc.) Well, I have prayed to God and now I just ask myself if I should continue do something in this world, or if it is just a distraction given by satan? I’m just… confused.

Think logically. How could the Devil take anything? He’s not omnipotent.

Write your thoughts in a journal. That cause your mind to have to slow down and will break the cycle.

Then, maybe, the devil is using the corridor of OCD and scrupulosity to influence you. I’d at least seek on one hand a Spiritual Counselor (talking to a priest) on the one notion of satan. And for the other (i.e. OCD.) I’d at least go to a Psychologist (i.e. Counselor) to deal with that part.

The devil does some horrible things since the fall. If someone is suffering physically, he then uses that suffering and pain to cause people to fall into sin more. For even people who are possessed, are often suffering some mental abuse or trauma. One is not entirely exclusive from the other. There are times it’s just a mental health problem someone is suffering and facing. And in all these works (i.e. spiritual and physical), the Church always remains/maintains that they are always an act/work of Mercy: Love.

The devil is allowed for the time being to talk to people and influence, as an abject fallen angel of light. Because, God made him to be, an angel. And yet the devil has denied it. He prefers to be like God. For that is why he opposes Saint Michael (i.e. Who is like onto God?) The devil fell into the temptation of trying to be like God. For that is why he tempted Eve saying: you shall become like gods. Because he fell in the same way, but as a pure spirit, an angel of light. No mistake, he wanted it that way. He wouldn’t and will not budge form it. He made his mind: non-servium (he will not serve as an angel of light, but to become like God instead.) And he got a third of the angels to revolt in that fight and conquest.)

And so he uses something you bear as your cross (i.e. OCD and Scrupulosity) in order to get you to let go of it. Just as he worked with the hearts and minds of the people to get Jesus to stop claiming to be the Son of God, through the Cross. But Jesus did not budge either, for the Salvation of souls. The devil is not happy about that. And never has been. And never will be. Hence why he entered into hell. His own choice…
