Thanks, that makes sense. It’s a bit like Our Lady of LaVang, a great apparition from Viet Nam but it probably falls into a similar category as Akita. Our Lady of LaVang is one of my favorites also.

I have read the miracle hunter website before and I even heard it some on the radio today. I know they cover these things. I haven’t really delved into this for a few years but I have read this kind of information before.

That apparition in China is very interesting too, but I want to leave it at this. I don’t want to get off-topic. I know, back in the day, it might not have always been practical to be able to investigate some of these matters. Fascinating, not the center of my faith, definitely worth knowing.

If you ever get a chance to visit the Shrine at Carthage, MO, and to attend Marian Days, go. It is the best kept secret in the Catholic world!

The shrine is stunning! Google will bring you many pictures.

They also do a wonderful Christmas lights display “The Way of Salvation”.

The Apparition of Our Lady of LaVang is a beautiful one. I read about it sometime ago and was blessed by it. How true the Word of God is! In the Gospel of Luke, we hear Mary’s Canticle:

…All Generations will call me blessed…(cf Luke 1:48)

May we seek God’s Grace to love Him as Mary our Mother did on this earth and join her in praising Him one day in heaven!

There is some Catholic merchandise store is in Missouri that sells quite a number of items, some having to do with Vietnam or the the Vietnamese language. Now, I believe I see the connection.
