In God nothing is impossible.

Today is feast day of saint Faustina Kowalska and blessed Bartolo Longo. Both of them died on 5th of October (it is significant to me that they share same feast day).
Both of them show us immeasureable Mercy of God, without which no sinner can have future and no human can become holy.

Blessed Bartolo was Satanist who, after conversion, spent life spreading Rosary and living Gospel. He is known as “Apostle of Rosary”.

Saint Faustina is saint also known as “Secretary of Divine Mercy”. God gifted us with devotion to Divine Mercy through Faustina and reminded us again of His mercyful Love.
Saint Faustina is very known and famous saint and many faithful love Divine Mercy devotion.

I am very touched with this special feast day because we have two saints with very different pasts but same future - Heaven.

Saint Faustina pray for us!
Blessed Bartolo pray for us!

Prayer for the Canonization of Blessed Bartolo Longo

God, Father of mercy, we praise you for having sent into the history of mankind, the Blessed Bartolo Longo, ardent apostle of the Rosary and shining example of a layman deeply involved in the evangelical witnessing of faith and of charity.

We thank you for his extraordinary spiritual journey, his prophetic intuitions, his tireless endeavors on behalf of the poorest and the neglected, the devotion with which he served your Church and built the new city of love at Pompeii.

We beseech you, grant that Blessed Bartolo Longo soon be numbered among the Saints of the universal Church, so that everyone may follow him as a model of life and benefit by his intercession. Amen.
