According to the Code of Canon Law, canon 1220:
“Can. 1220 §1. All those responsible are to take care that in churches such cleanliness and beauty are preserved as befit a house of God and that whatever is inappropriate to the holiness of the place is excluded.
§2. Ordinary care for preservation and fitting means of security are to be used to protect sacred and precious goods.”
(From vatican.va/archive/ENG1104/_INDEX.HTM ).

On “After the washing of the feet (6 men,6 ladies) the entire congregation goes and gets their hands washed. Yes No ??”
No. The document for this is the Roman Missal, with its instructions for the Mass of the Lord’s Supper on Holy Thursday. It has:
Washing of Feet
Depending on pastoral circumstances, the washing of feet follows the homily.
The men who have been chosen are led by the ministers to chairs prepared in a suitable place. Then the priest (removing his chasuble if necessary) goes to each man. With the help of the ministers, he pours water over each one’s feet and dries them.”
(Roman Missal, Catholic Book Publishing Co., New York, 1985, page 136).
There is no description of a ceremony with everyone having there hands washed.

The 2002 Latin Edition of the Roman Missal also has the word “viri” meaning “men” in its description of the washing of feet. (Missale Romanum, Libreria Editrice Vaticana, 2002, ISBN: 8820972719, page 300).

Thank you John, I could not have found those references .God bless.Margie
