Of Gods and Men has been on my movie list for quite some time, but I never got around to watching it until a few days ago. I watch a lot of Christian/religious movies, but this was one of the most spiritually moving that I have seen in a long time. Has anybody else seen it? What are your thoughts?
 
My husband & I watched it some years ago - we were very much moved by it. We’d like to watch it again, but don’t remember who we borrowed it from - the library doesn’t have it.
 
I keep hoping to see sometime that the monks’ cause is being put before the Congregation for Saints.
 
I thought the people involved in making this film did a great job. The religious and cultural differences and themes were treated with much respect. It was one of few movies I actually saw in a theater when it was first released, that’s how much I wanted to support it.
