and silence and persevering prayer…

Old style hermit lore…

This last while as disaster of an especially horriifc kind has been nearing and breaking hee in Ireland, I have kept silence in many ways.

My original calling was as solitary, hermit, ratified by this illness. I left hermitage to work for family/colleagues seeking to ( ironic ) rescue babies in India and Nepal, dumped in the rubbish… By trading my hand work at street markets and craft fairs these last 17 years

Heading for 80 and frailer so that work stopped before Christmas house move…

So now , solitude and silence and physical separation from a world out there. As my body winds down now.

And the utter grief of events here leaves me only Prayer. There is nothing else … prayer of tears and deep sorrow.

Praying for all here. Trust in that… sorrow has huge power. still knitting and here for orders1

Gad to see you back, Rosebud. There were people worried about you here and who were praying for you.

I’m Sorry…you seem so sad…
“A time for every purpose under heaven”
but the greatest of all these is love…and He loves you so much…as you love Him.

Rosebud, welcome back. You know, Ireland is a very old country and has a lot of history. The pendulum will swing back…just don’t despair. As far as Ireland being in a mess, it seems that the whole world is having convulsions. Just keep praying for positive outcomes and let God take care of the rest. He has a way of cleaning up messes. Call HIM Mr. CLEAN if you wish. peace.

Happy to see you again, Rosebud. I, too, have been away for a wee bit. My heart goes out to you and my prayers will continue.

What are you knitting? Knitting brings me great joy. Sweet hubby and I have moved and I am hoping to begin a prayer shawl ministry here. A great way to spend time with others, knit, pray for the person receiving the shawl, etc.

If I can help you fill orders for knitting, I would be happy to do so. Really! : )

Salutations
We are in the winters of the seasons of our lives, Rosebud. If what was written, you accomplished your crown in heaven will be heavy. How are bodies feel in winter has us longing for home. We are prisoners in our flesh, when our Spirits want to soar.

Alone, we are never. God and angels at our side
Memories float in colors, paint by numbers, God our guide.
There is no silence as e’en in night a bird will trill.
And the music of the bogdrum and fiddle drifts up the hill.

So, oneday, our eyes will flutter and dimness starts to call
Our eyelids no longer open, but see clearly down the hall.
Friend and family that took this journey and Jesus, wait on the other side.
As we lay down our needles and softly, join and abide.

I climbed the REEK and prayed on high ground
Where Patrick held fast and prayed, peace found
Saw the sunrise o’ER the ocean. Walked in clouds
On the way back.
So. I can climb this Holy stairway and keep my spirit
On the right track.

United now, with my Savior, tears of love fall down my cheek
My soul is bare before my judgement. “Job well done”, He did speak.
Beatific vision glows before me. Brighter the the sun.
“My Lord, my God!”, I say, in wonder. My work on earth is done.

Dei Linn. Slan augus accora gael.

Yesterday, for the Irish born, the Dial, elected a female President who was in the IRA. AND were only 2 votes short for voting in a UNITED IRELAND.
BEFORE Rosebud and my husband die, they may see their country one, once again. A SHAMROCK REVOLUTION W no bloodshed.
Praise God from whom all blessings flow.

Ah but the president has no power… and it will not renew the Church here which has damaged itself beyond any healing.

My grief is for the babies, for the mothers, and outrage that WE THE CHURCH did this atrocity knowingly and willingly . WE THE CHURCH.

This is a spiritual thing not political .

And the church has destroyed itself now.

My solitude is a strong and positive thing. I always say that when I close my gate here I am no linger in Ireland but in a State of Grace ( the name of my house)

Not despair, reality. It has gone too far now and is our fault, our doing, The sins of the Church here.

Dumping dead babies in sewage systems?

for me it is over. Will pray and live alone now.

Are you not saddened and horrified? By what has been done here by the Church? We know each other AS. I am saddened more now…

Glad to see you back on CAF Rosebud.I think a lot of people were getting worried!
I hope your cats are well too🐱
What bad things are you referring to that are happening in Ireland (if you don’t mind the question)?

My understanding is that this scandal has been disproved. Here is one article; there are others.
Best not to believe everything we read on the Internet.
God bless.
