Offering Eucharist for the dead

Hey guys, hope your day is going well.

My question concerns the Eucharist and the dead. I've heard that one is able to offer the Eucharist they receive at Mass for the dead. Can anybody give me more details on this please?

Also, if it is possible, does the person receiving still receive the graces that come along with the Sacrament?

You can offer any good work — prayer, reception of the sacraments (including Holy Communion), ordinary labor, suffering, acts of charity — for any of a variety of intentions: for healing for a sick loved one, for conversion of sinners and unbelievers, for world peace, and certainly for the soul(s) of deceased person(s). Simply express that intention to God in prayer.

The person receiving Communion still receives the grace of the Sacrament. God is not stingy with His graces! And the graces available from devout reception of Holy Communion are superabundant (plenty to go around). Go ahead, be greedy and ask a lot of our generous God!
