I think the rest of the season will be, at least, about them getting back to that other island to get Jack. And if they accomplish this, they’ll somehow rescue Alex along with Jack, bring her back to the Losties’s island, where she’ll be reunited with her mother, Danielle, and her boyfriend, Karl.

Not if they never resolve the mysteriousness. Then it’s just frustrating, and gives me the impression the writers don’t know where they’re going with this stuff.
At the start, they promised everything would have a “normal” explanation, so sci-fi, no fantasy, no supernatural. But a black cloud that can throw things around? Good luck with a normal explanation for that!
I still love the show, but I think Heros has tighter plotting.

A clip for next week looked like Locke and everyone attempts a rescue on Jack! Can’t wait for that to happen.
