dungeons and dragons the game ( video game, internet, or pen and paper ) When if ever is it acceptable for catholics to play DnD. I am speaking strictly morality based. Put aside for now all discussions of time management, obligations, etc… Is it a moral evil, from a religious and/or spiritual perspective?

Didn’t we just leave this party?🤷 (or more accurately, see the cops come in and shut the party down for disturbing the neighbors? 🙂 )

Once again, as mentioned above, D&D is a game. games are usually morally neutral, IMO. Can you go over the line playing D&D? Yes, if you play blatantly morally offensive characters like Adolf the Bathed-in-Blood, cleric of Tharizdun and ravenous scourge of all life on Toril; or take the game too seriously and begin to believe that it’s real.

Could someone explain to me how it could be morally wrong? I don’t see it.

Neither do I but apparently according to the rationally blind ones who do, we are the ones who are blind.

I wonder what are the other benefits of throwing reason out the window for these people?

sigh< I dunno. Sounds like only those who have never played the game think it’s dabbling in sorcery or something.
