I remember one year when I was a very young girl, being at my grandmother’s house with my parents and sister during the Easter season. There was an old black and white film on about Fatima. I can’t remember what the film was called, or who starred in it. Does anyone know what this movie is called, and whether it can still be found? And more importantly, if you do remember it, is it true to the Fatima experience, enough that you would recommend it to those who are unfamiliar with the apparitions?

Thank you! This is the one. I have found it at Amazon.com on VHS only (perhaps it will be released on DVD in the future, too.)

May God bless you.

Another old movie I remember seeing was a silent film from 1927 entitled “King of Kings” (I think it was the original). Does anybody remember that one and is that movie possibly on VHS/DVD?

go with God!
Edwin

Believe it or not, I saw it on the local PBS station in the late 1960’s and early 1970’s!

Yes, Edwin, I have found it at Amazon.com on VHS:

King of Kings (1927)

They also have The Ten Commandments, another movie I love. We rented it during Easter this year. Even now, the special effects seem moderately spectacular-- and you just can’t beat that vivid color.

Another great old black and white movie is “The Miracle of Marcelino”

And if you like modern movies, there is a great project (from first glance) due to hit the theaters this October.

THERESE tells the true story of Thérèse of Lisieux. Read more about it here: theresemovie.com/
