When did the bloody sacrifice of animals in the Jewish temple stop and why? This question came up in our religious study group today and no one seem to know. Anyone have an answer?
when Jerusalem was finally sacked by the Roman Army in the last rebellion and the Temple destroyed, 66-70 AD. and the Jews forcibly dispersed throughout the Empire.
