I recently borrowed a book from 1957 about Divine Mercy. In it, it had the older form of the chaplet, novena and litany of Divine Mercy. (For example, “Through the sorrowful passion of Jesus…”)

I am just curious, does anyone here the chaplet in this manner? Do you do it out of attachment to tradition?

I once had this leaflet of the Divine Mercy (aka ‘The Mercy of God’) that has the same text. Being a kid, I wondered how come the text on the leaflet differed from the Chaplet as said. I don’t have it now (and I don’t expect to get it back), though, having moved a lot.

I am very much involved in the Divine Mercy way of life. I say this, because it is so much more than just a devotion. Could you please type in the prayers of the older form. I would be interested in having them. Thanks in advance
