Someone who kills to advance his goals is NOT a pro-lifer.

Anti-abortion, perhaps. Not prolife.

Maybe, and yet if the Pope called for it, said it was a justified defense of innocents, wouldn’t many of us be ready to march in such a crusade??

I don’t think it helps the cause. But if the violence took place WHILE an act of abortion was in the process of taking place (of course, in this case it didnt), I’m sure it could often be justified as legitimate defense of an innocent.

Of course, we usually dont have occasion to be in the room DURING an abortion…and we have no obligation to seek out evil to stop it. But if we were in that situation…and could stop it reasonably by force…I think theoretically one cannot argue against it for merely pragmatic reasons like “it doesnt help the movement”. In the moment, the obligation is to help the baby in front of you. So perhaps it’s best just not to get involved in such situations.

well it seems consistent with the attitudes of some “pro-lifers” here, who actually seem “pro-death”

In one piece, Rudolph seeks to justify violence against abortion clinics by arguing that Jesus would condone “militant action in defense of the innocent.”
Then Simon Peter, having a sword, drew it and struck the servant of the high priest and cut off his right ear. And the name of thee servant was Malchus. Jesus therefore said to Peter: “Fight thee with all thy might …” er, no, wait a second, how did that go again…

I will pray for Mr. Rudolph as I pray for those who staff these clinics.

Did you see his prison picture that is attached to this article?. He is wearing a bullet-proof vest. Who do they expect is going to harm this guy…some crazed abortion provider…they only kill you if you are in your mother’s womb!😦

Prayer to End Abortion
Lord God, I thank you today for the gift of my life,
And for the lives of all my brothers and sisters.

I know there is nothing that destroys more life than abortion,
Yet I rejoice that you have conquered death
by the Resurrection of Your Son.

I am ready to do my part in ending abortion.
Today I commit myself
Never to be silent,
Never to be passive,
Never to be forgetful of the unborn.

I commit myself to be active in the pro-life movement,
And never to stop defending life
Until all my brothers and sisters are protected,
And our nation once again becomes
A nation with liberty and justice
Not just for some, but for all.

Through Christ our Lord. Amen!

If one KNEW an abortion was going to happen, such as if one was about to witness such action taking place, one would certainly be justified in taking means to prevent it from happening. Sadly our legal system doesn’t afford preborn due protection. Reasonable belief of such intentions cannot be used to procure warrant for either arrest of abortionist (attempted murder) nor seizure of the clinic.

The devil is an expert at twisting all our good deeds around.
😦 How like the father of lies to take our fight for life and turn it into another avenue for hatred and murder.

There is no excuse for taking a life in a bombing. That is just no the prolife message.
