Omnipresence of God - in the hearts of unbelievers and in Hell

If God is Omnipresent, then there is nowhere that He is not.
Even in the hearts and minds of unbelievers, even in Hell.
God is Omnipresent.
So what is the difference between the regenerate and the un?
What is the difference between Heaven and Hell?
Surely, The Holy Spirit is present in all of these.
What then, is being filled with The Holy Spirit?
Was He not already in our hearts and minds?
He is Omnipresent.
Yes, He was already there.
But our souls were blind to His presence.
Being ‘born-again’, then, is not so much the being filled with He who previously absent…
But the becoming aware of His presence and entering into communion with Him who was already there to begin with.
What then is the experience of Heaven, or that of Hell?
Either way, no matter where you are, you are in His presence.
But either His presence burns you like fire,
Or it ignites you with Love.
What then is salvation?
What then is life?
Is it not simply the process of either embracing or rejecting the eternal light of God’s love?
And is it not by this decision, and by this decision alone, that we determine our fate?

As I understand it, hell is not a place, rather it is a state those who are far from God in spirit place themselves in.

Hell is generally understood as the absence of God. He could be there if he wished, but then it wouldn’t be Hell, so he chooses not to be there, or rather those who are there choose to be apart from God.

As for God being in the hearts of unbelievers, God is present near unbelievers and ready to step in the moment they welcome Him. As God gives us free will, he does not just barge in on someone’s heart uninvited. He is capable of doing that if he wanted - but he doesn’t to it, instead he waits to be asked, welcomed in. But the fact that he is not asked into a certain heart does not keep him from loving the person or seeing what is going on in their life. And if there is even the slightest, tiniest invitation from the person to God, then God will come into that person’s heart.

God is present in so far as He sustains their existence, but is, so far as I understand it, otherwise as far removed as possible, particularly so that His absence is keenly felt as an absolute spiritual absence.

Heaven begins with the initial state into grace. But prior to this, due to the incarnation, there is a union with every soul and God by power and essence. A consequence of a mortal sin is disunion of God and the soul as concerns grace, but yet the soul is still united by His power and essence. Grace brings unity in friendship and therein is the absolute difference of heaven and hell. But yet, one lives in mystery while on earth in either place. The veil is removed after death, except if one enter purgatory - in this place the veil is placed back on after partially lifted and then purged away.

God is present everywhere. as to the hearts of non-believers and the souls in hell, they do not know He is there or refuse to acknowledge His presence. the actions of their free wills does not negate God’s presence everywhere.
