I hate to say this, but it has to be said by someone:

The idea of reading book-length anything by Pope Francis doesn’t really make my socks go up and down. And I generally like the guy. He’s just better when he keeps it to short sound bytes.

Pope Benedict was a theologian and scholar. Of course there’s a big audience for his books.
