I am LOVING Once Upon a time but the end of tonight’s episode made me say EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW. And now we have to wait two weeks to see the Next Episode. Thank God for Hulu Plus…I can rewatch all 4 episodes as many times as I want.
Been watching them both, and like both, but prefer Once Upon a Time if I had to choose. I like the characters better, the story, and well, hope that it stays on the “family” track it seems to be on.
Grimm on the other hand I like as well, however, I don’t care for the lead characters all that much. (Too generic). Also, while it’s an OK show, it really seems too much like every other crime drama with some X-files thrown in.
Once Upon a Time actually annoyed me quite a bit, as the dialogue was clunky, the acting poor and the writing subpar. It wasn’t from Lindelof and Cuse, the showrunners of Lost, but two other writers.
I was really looking forward to it, and I thought it was going to be pretty good. But they abandoned any deep mystery in favor of the shallow tales. Which is fine for what the show wants to be.
It’s not trying to be one of the best dramas on television or win any awards; it is trying to be a show that both kids and adults can watch, so good for them with that. And with that goal, I think it actually does a pretty good job and will find some success.
