I don’t think anyone is actually linking Snow White to Mary, except for maybe a comment in this thread. I certainly don’t connect the two.

And please, take your concerns and criticisms about Jewish people to a different thread. I rather like discussing “Once,” and don’t want to see the thread closed.

i am one of many people who link mary to snow white. but i think its only fair to point out that she never ate the apple and she doesn’t like poison. she never pricked her finger on a spinning wheel either. she has never fallen due to sin

I’m not sure if you are aware but the writers of the show are jewish and they are the producers of lost.

I object to anyone saying or thinking or believing this is a catholic show or drawing comparisons the way one poster did. that poster is not the only who made that false correlation. and looks like posts have been deleted. not sure what happened. its more than likely an attack on our faith because they are after all jewish and hollywood typically mocks catholic values who are mostly jewish to begin with.

i cannot allow an error of this magnitude to be allowed to be swept under the rug

if you take issue with this perhaps you might find yourself in a big argument with me because i note you work for the government and i am entitled to express my religious and political views and my faith here. so if i were you i would not lord yourself over me. I would walk away and not push it with me because i happen to think i am more in the right than you are.

I meant mary has not fallen due to sin. and actually snow white did not sin either. however the apple harkens back to the fall of adam and eve when they ate from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. snow white did not eat from this tree but the poisoned apple still brought death because she trusted an evil one who wanted to harm her life and soul.

Snow White committed sin of detraction, so she DID sin. It started the whole ball going with Regina getting all homicidal and stuff.
