It did feel rather a slap to have you ask someone who told you they were raised Catholic if they knew about the Real Presence, sorry, that’s how it felt.

i appreciate the apology… Thanks… but i was raised Catholic (?) and was not catechized well, did NOT know about the Real Presence until i was fairly “old”… & also, i have run into many who don’t know or don’t remember or don’t appreciate the RP… I was very surprised that you knew about it, considering the wy your posts went…

It is strange but u and i appear to have a lot in common… I guess that is not so strange except that i always feel very few people understand me… and very few do… but i have been through the same kinds of things u describe…

Anyway, i am glad you are taking steps to get away from un-healhty people. All of us are unhealthy, but some are so un-healthy we can’t associate with them… (without it causing a lot of damage… making damage worse, etc.). And again, i believe a lot of people end up in Hell because they will NOT detach from their lives in this world, including the poeple in their lives, their “loved ones”… (but is it really love when it gets/stays… so “un-healthy”…?).

I get away from “things” all the time, and spend time with the Divine.

It is interesting how different things look when a person does that… The devil is subtl and more powerful than we humans… much, much more powerful… and cunning… He gets to us through people we don’t even know… For example, there are people who live around me… i barely know them, if i know them at all, but I know they are not living a Chirstian life… or they are not as “into it” as i am… that’s for sure… I can sense when those people are around & when they are not… weird… but anyway, that’s one of those long stories… kinda…

every time we sin, we distance ourselves from Jesus… and open the door to satan… and that is what crucifies Him…

(i am writing this because the 1st time i heard of that - what u say - i didn’t understand it).

You seem to have grasped it quite well and very clearly. If people would see sin as clearly as you see it…I truly believe we would be living hollier lives.

What is mysterious to me… is that i didn’t see things this clearly either until i prayed the rosary… and then got back into the Church… which is why we need to pray the rosary over all those who don’t pray the rosary, those who live their lives in contradition to God’s holy commandments…

I think sometimes we christians forget that not everyone has the tools/weapons we hve… and that people need HELP.

How true it is. As for me and my family…we will serve the Lord.

Pray the Rosary, daily
Go to confession, weekly
Recieve the Eucharist, weekly
Love and serve the Lord and be a witness onto others.

i need to go to confession - no mortal sins but want to go cause haven’t been for awhile… just have to drive long ways… but i think it would be worth it… (very good priest ).

Confession is the way we santify our priests. We keep them holy when we frequently go to confession.

The graces recieved in confession are beyond comprehension. If you have a good priest then its time to sanctify him and make him holy.
