A friend of mine is a member of a oneness pentacostal church. As to which of the major Oneness Pentacostal churches he belongs to, I do not know. We got into a rather lengthy discussion in regards to baptisim in “Jesus” name only and some other topics as well. I was able to find some info on Catholic.com in regards to the defense of the Trinity and arguments against the “In Jesus name only” form of baptisim.
However, I was wondering if anyone knows of some good information with regards to oneness theology or any debates from notable catholic apologists debating oneness apologists. He gave me some online information to read from David Bernard, (I believe that was the author). Yet, I dont know much about this person.
With all the talking and debating we as Catholics do with other memebers from different Protestant denominations, it seems like Oneness Theology and Oneness Pentacostal Churches are starting to pop up more and more and attracting more converts from other denominations. However, I haven’t found nearly as much information as I’d like to on this subject…
