This is something I happened across while looking into conventional retreats. Creighton University is Jesuit University and they offer this retreat that can be done alone or in groups. It can be started any time but if it is started this Sunday (Sept 17, 2006) it follows the liturgical calendar through Easter.
This retreat may be common knowledge but it is the first I heard of it and I’m probably not alone. 🙂

This is the first time I have heard of it, but I promptly bookmarked the site. However, as noted in another of my posts, I will be out of town 16-30 September, most likely without internet access. So I’ll have to wait until I get back. But thanks:thumbsup:

I was reading in the FAQ’s that you can print out the reflections so you don’t miss anything or just start whenever you are ready.

It’s a superb site. Not just the long retreat but the daily reflections, the audio retreat downloads, the stations and everything else. Wonderful.

I’d start the retreat but the outreach team of the Jesuit centre up the coast from here is going to be leading the exercises as a 19th annotation retreat (or more simply a retreat in everyday life) from next month. Much excitement and a little trepidation. :bounce:

Thank you so much for posting this! I cannot wait to start it this Sunday :D.

Thank you so much, yesterday I came across another website (same content), but the guideline is not user-friendly. Besides that, I’ve been wanting to have a retreat the past a week or so.

It is definitely helpful to me. =)
Thanks for posting it.

thank you for the info. Do you think that we could start a thread every week and discuss the topic of the week?

That’s a good idea. I suppose we can all find each other in this forum topic. I’m not online every day but over the course of a week probably anyone who wants to can contribute.
Maybe we can use a topic name like ‘Creighton Week 1’ .
