Because of the increase number of COVID 19 happening parishes near me are still attempting to figure out how they will provide RCIA classes to those requesting. I found an online class with classes, that too me are a bit pricey, but I am willing to pay if worth it. Has anyone ever completed online courses such as these? They seem to be similar to RCIA content when I read the descriptions in the courses. This COVID stuff stinks and trying to figure out a good alternative for me during this time.
I would encourage parishes to subscribe to Formed.org and have their candidates and catechumens use one or more of the programs on that site so it is free for the inquirers.
Also RCIA is way more than just catechism class so they should also have a way to meet through zoom for formation and community.
My parish started back with RCIA, while I’m all for rcia, I was talking to Deacon and suggested zoom… Too many deaths where I live, like 13 in 3 weeks (son works at hospital)and our Priest just found out 2 days ago he has covid
