I recently graduated with my Master’s of Healthcare Administration (previous Bachelor of Social Work and Associate of Nursing) and I don’t need any other education for my career. However I would really like to pursue a Ph.D. but not in my career field. This is primarily for my own personal development and potential ministry options. I’m contemplating a degree in History with a more specific focus in something related to Church history, history of theology, or something along those lines.
For most of the schools I’ve seen, a strong understanding of Latin is highly recommended. Until I decide when and how this PhD journey will go, I’d like to prepare and learn Latin. My preference would be through college courses so I have it on my transcripts. Is anyone aware of any online Latin courses through an accredited institution of that they recommend? Preference would be a good program that doesn’t require a mortgage to take. Any recommendations are appreciated.
