The picture is the title page of the second volume, hence Tomus Alter. The first volume would be Tomus Primus. From the advertisement it looks like both volumes are included.

What would be more important to know would be the edition. The approved edition for those preferring the Roman Breviary over the Liturgy of the Hours, is 1961.

I doubt it’s the 1961 version, considering Pius XII is on the title page.

Yeah, what I meant is this two-volume Roman Breviary. I know that the Nova et Vetera is also two-volumes.

I assume it’s using the Pian psalter because it says Pius XII, but I’m not certain as to which rubrics it’s following even though it mentions Summorum Pontificum.

It’s not referring to Summorum Pontificum from Benedict XVI.

Ohhh… so then this is an original from the early 1900s then.
Gotcha.

Well no, it’s from the pontificate of Pius XII, so 1939-1958. A further clue would be whether the 1955 Holy Week reforms are included. If so, it’s 1955-1958 or until John XXIII’s changes were promulgated. Otherwise it’s 1939-1955.

All of which are based on the major Pius X revisions of 1910.
