Hey,
I am currently at a school which is better than anything I could’ve dreamed of. I am spiritually nourished here beyond what I knew possible; this place is seriously a banquet in solid doctrine and good catechesis, encouragment to prayer and daily Eucharist, and an atmosphere which makes clear that the only goal of this life is to get to heaven.
Sad part is, I can’t afford to come back next year. I am hoping to work a year, come back to school a year, if I choose to finish a degree in theology. But I am still honestly in a discernment process, and feel like next year might be wasted if it is simply spent on money-making with the intention of seeking further opportunity in my education up here… only to find out that I’d rather enter a religious order than come back to school anyway, or to find out that I need a different degree than theology.
Which is why I am asking… does anyone know of any good opportunities for a young Catholic who is looking to grow in her faith? I have thought of NET… but it looks like they might want more… experience with being Catholic… than what I have.
Is there anything similar in which I could both give of myself, and gain a deeper routing in my faith?
Do any of you parents know of anything that was good for your kids? Any of my fellow youth out there, know of anything that was so amazing for you?
