A friend of my daughters was raised Catholic, but after a wild period in her life has found Jesus in the “non-denominational” church. At one point, she was in a very cult-like church and cut herself off from old friends. (She de-friended us on Facebook, because one of my daughter’s other friends posted something inappropriate). She did leave that church, but still routinely posts anti Catholic propaganda. I am very careful in how I respond, and try to stick to my own re-vert story. Is there anything else I can do?

I would recommend that you consecrate her to Mary’s immaculate Heart.
That means you make up your own prayer from your heart to her heart and lay that person’s conversion in the lap of your blessed Mother. Also expressing your complete hope and confidence in her special power with her son to bring her back.

Then say this prayer everyday remembering her,
“Immaculate heart of Mary, pray for us now and at the hour of our death.”

If you are constant and faithful, she will answer your prayer.
Graces are given when asked for. Many are not given because they are not asked for.
Just ask Mary and tell her you are placing your hope in her.

Be ready for any long term answer. This person may need a lot of prayers.
You are indeed a kind person to be so thoughtful.

There are stories on CAF of people who have had this deep conversion after turning completely away.

Thank you. I placed her in Mary’s care when I said my morning offering.
