I don’t watch Oprah but the little I’ve seen she seems to be NEW AGE. Is this a fair assessment ?
Has anyone seen any online articles about Oprah’s “spirituality”?

Is her messsage anti-religion?
I assume she supports liberal political views.
 
What Oprah seems to endorse is this unfettered spirituality that is very cliche with Hollywood’s elite (think Madonna). She doesn’t endorse or condemn any particular religious system or belief, so espouses sort of a general thought of agnosticism (which is really little more than lazy atheism). She recognizes that sprituality plays an important part in nearly everyone’s life, but because her audience is so diverse, she doesn’t want to alienate anyone, so she embraces all of everyones beliefs as an equally co-valid holistic spiritual melting pot.

Well put, Apologia

I watch Oprah from time to time depending on the topic of her show. And we all know that she has used her wealth to do many good things for people in need. But what keeps me from calling myself a true fan is my impression of what her beliefs might be - would liberal-spiritual be an accurate term ? that might not be fair to Oprah but I can only go on what I’ve seen.

That is great and much cleaner than what I call agnostics. (chicken sh*# atheists). :dancing: Yes, I know this is not nice so don’t everyone jump on my back. :crying: It is due to the fact that people like Oprah don’t want to admit that God exists, but just in case they are wrong they say they believe that “something is out there”. 🤓

I am comfortable with Amy Welborn’s work.
She really seems to hit the nail on the head.

I recommend her PROVE IT series to all Parents of teenagers.
