Cloisters

Well-known member
The Order of the Most Holy Trinity was founded by St John de Matha, and was primarily for the redemption of captives. They also run schools, and work in parishes.

The Trinitarians have the typical three Orders. The first are the friars, the second, the Cloistered nuns, and the third, the vowed sisters and Laity.

The Trinitarian habit is distinguished by the blue and red cross on the scapular. They follow the Rule of St Augustine, hence the white of the habit. The sisters and nuns wear a black veil.
