Pardon for the slightly peculiar question.

I know there are many Catholic orders that focus on feeding, teaching, and otherwise helping societies in poorer countries.

Are there any orders that focus on other (possibly dangerous) problems, for instance sex slavery? It seems like there is so much that can be done about sex slavery but isn’t, because there are not enough resources devoted to combating it…

St. Faustina’s order, the Sisters of Our Lady of Mercy, were tasked with rehabilitating girls and women who had been referred to them by the courts:
The educational center in Cracow is dedicated to the care of girls and women in need of moral conversion. Our sisters assist the women by taking care of their spiritual and educational needs. The institute provides trade school training so that the young women can acquire adequate professional skills. Other houses in Poland shelter pregnant women and unwed mothers.

I don’t know much but i can infer that The Franciscan Third order Friars in NYC (of the most famous, Father Stan Fortuna) are daily in the lives of problems of which you have described.
