I was reading about Adan’s sin in Genesis. It said things like:
- Adan and Eve’s sin was a desobeying sin;
- It was gluttony, because they prefered the pleasure of the palate upon God’s will;
- It was a proud sin, intending to be like God;
- It was a sin of magic, because they knew that just eating a fruit they couldn’t, only for its digestion, reach the Divinity (wanting to reach an effect bigger than the cause is properly act of magic);
- They knew that the simple ingestion of the forbidden fruit wouldn’t do them infinite. They ate the fruit as a sinal for the demon to make on them the divinization. And that was a sin of satanism;
- Finally, wanting to have an absolute and divinizer knowledge is proper of Gnosticism;
Thanks
