Original Sin and Wise Men

I have two questions.
  1. Do eastern catholics believe in orthodoxy definition of original sin?
2)How many wise men there are for each rite?

I know these
-Latin:3
-Armenian:12

How many wise men are there in Byzantine, Alexandrian, East Syrian and West Syrian rites?
 
There was a [thread=412063]thread[/thread] in this sub-forum on this topic some years ago which you might find to be of interest.
 
So according to the thread.
There are 3 magi in Byzantine and Latin rite.
But there are 12 magi in East/West Syrian, Alexandrian and Armenian rites are 12?
So Oriental Orthodox rites have 12 magi while Byzantine and Latin have 3 magi?
 
Neither the Bible nor the Catholic Church teaches the specific number of the Magi. It is often assumed that there were three because of the three gifts.

This was mentioned in the homily at mass last week. The Priest also said that it was originally 12 in the Latin church too but eventually became 3 because of the gifts, like you said.
