Orthodox: Two questions, one about believers, the other not

And, these are completely unrelated, I admit.

#1, do you have scrupulous Orthodox members, that is to say, members who view God more as a cop than a loving God and will strike down a person for the smallest infractions, and this person thinks they have sinned even when they haven’t? Do you have these in Orthodoxy?

#2, if you go to Orthodox forums, do you have Protestants coming onto there and disputing Church teachings with you?

…Perhaps this would go better in the Backyard Fence folder, but, I’m not sure how many Orthodox visit there.

Probably, but that is not the possition of the Church. The prayer before communion even has the words “I am first among sinners” included. We know we are sinners and pray for God’s mercy.
#2, if you go to Orthodox forums, do you have Protestants coming onto there and disputing Church teachings with you?
I personally don’t just because they don’t seem to have much on them, and they don’t have much room for discussion. I like this forum because it invites discussion of all sorts. I used to lurk at the Christianforums, but as you mention radical protestants going on and trolling was fairly common, especially since there are several such forums on the site.
