Does anyone know when exactly Daily Roman Missal (published by Our Sunday Visitor) made the switch from the Jerusalem version of Scripture to the New American? I’d like to buy the Jerualem copy and there are lots of used ones out there but I don’t know when they made the switch. Thanks.

I have a copy of it, with the Jerusalem Bible readings, published in 1996. The copyright is listed
“1993, 1994, 1996 Fr. James Socias
Third edition 1996
ISBN 0-933932-58-8”.
But I don’t know if this was the last USA edition with Jerusalem Bible readings.

I discovered that 1998 was the last year they used the Jerusalem version. The 2003 edition began using NAB.

As reluctant as I am to recommend it, you might want to try ebay. Amazon.com might also have it, as well as Allibri.com and booksamillion.com .

I, too, miss the readings from the JB (not the new version) because they seemed to be a better translation. Although, I would love for the RSV-CE to be the version that is used for the Lectionary. But, that’s for another thread.
