Ok, I did not say that I don’t believe it would accomplish anything. I said I am not sure that is would accomplish anything. Small difference, but a difference. Maybe I should have said I don’t know what it would accomplish. And the OP is not about what rebuilding the temple would or would not accomplish.

The OP stated that we had heard somewhere that Judaism of the OT and modern Judaism are not the same thing. So the to elaborate on what I think the OP is about is are they the same religion. I don’t intend to start a thread, as its a simple question I am asking and all that is required is a simple answer of which the conversation now moved past you and I, as your not an Orthodox Jew, so the only one derailing the thread is you at the moment, by your insistence on what I should and shouldn’t talk about. And the understanding of the Temple does relate to the OP since Orthodox Jews and others such as messianic understand this differently.
