Other universes in mystical or near death experiences

I recently finished a book by a neurosurgeon whose cerebral cortex went dark while he was in a coma from bacterial meningitis. In his experience, he traveled to Heaven - which was unspeakably vivid and full of love and impossible to adequately put into human language - and he encountered beings that came from other universes besides our own in addition to angels.

Does anybody know of any Catholic mystics that have seen something similar? It seems unlikely since that knowledge isn’t important during our mortal lives but I’m curious.

I don’t know.

Keep in mind that if others had similar experiences of people from other planets and universes, they most likely would not have the language to describe that.

But we do sometime here phrases like “and other Heavenly creatures.” That could mean different kinds of angels, but it could also mean people from other planets and universes.

We won’t know til we get there. But to me, I believe in one God of the universe (or multiverse). Therefore it would make sense that intelligent life from all over God’s creation would inhabit Heaven.
