Our beloved fur-child, Waylon, has departed us to live in Heaven with our Lord. He provided us with many years of love and comfort. It is difficult to assuage one’s grief over so great a loss. Please, pray for our dearly departed Waylon, my wife, and me during these difficult times.

My sincere condolences. I pray that Jesus comforts you and your wife in this sad and difficult time.

I am sure that God has already taken wonderful care of darling Waylon, whom he created and sent to you to be your friend, as an expression of His love. The Lord givest and he takest away, blessed be the name of the Lord.

I am so sorry for your loss. I pray that you and your wife find peace in this sad moment. Have comfort in knowing little Waylon is up there running around in a beautiful, endless field of lush grass and enjoying all the treats and toys he could ever possibly want. I pray that you and your wife depart from this world long into the future, but when you do Waylon will be waiting for you by the gates of Heaven and will be absolutely thrilled to see you.

I love this prayer, @Bixx. This is actually the prayer I said over Waylon during his last moments. My wife has chronic neutropenia, which is a rare bone marrow disorder that prevents her from ultimately producing white blood cells. So, in this pandemic, she is completely quarantined. She could not go. We Facetimed so she could see our beloved Waylon one last time, but it was not the same. I held him and petted him until he drew his last breath. We will miss him dearly.
 
I’m so very sorry for your loss… I’ve been through this and … you and your family are in my prayers.

I also included a prayer for your wife’s health and healing during the Divine Mercy Chaplet today.
