Does any one know where the Missionary Image of Our Lady of Guadalupe is located? (I realize the real image is located in Mexico City.) A man named Daniel Lynch is the keeper of the image as I understand and I was wondering if anyone knew how I could visit the image. Does the image tour, if so anyone know of the schedule?

Thanks,

The Missionary Image of Our Lady of Guadalupe

WHAT: The Missionary Images are actual size (4’X6’) replicas of the original Miraculous Image of Our Lady which she left on Blessed Juan Diego’s tilma. They were blessed at the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe in Mexico by the Rector of the Basilica to bring conversions, reverence for life, sanctity of the family and solidarity of the Church in America. They have journeyed on Visitations in the New Evangelization throughout the world. The Images have visited each of the United States in over one thousand parishes and have received the veneration of hundreds of thousands. There have been hundreds of Masses, Confessions, hours of adoration of the Blessed Sacrament and Rosaries in the presence of the Images. Many conversions, healings, reconciliation’s and graces have been reported.

Many abortions have been prevented and at least twenty abortuaries have been closed through Our Lady’s intercession by her Missionary Image. Irish clergy credit her intercession for voting down a proposed Constitutional amendment to “legalize” abortion in Ireland.

The Image was crowned by Bishops as Queen of the Philippines, Queen of the Mexican Youth and Queen of the Youth of the World at World Youth Day.

**WHO: **The Guardian of the Missionary Images is Dan Lynch of St. Albans, Vermont. Mr. Lynch is the President of a nonprofit tax‑exempt apostolate that coordinates the Journey of the Images. The apostolate is under the direction of Fr. Thomas Celso. Mr. Lynch is a judge, retired lawyer, author and public speaker.

**HOW: **The Missionary Images are sent to local Guardian Teams who have requested Visitations. They prepare the reception and coordinate all liturgical events with the local pastors. The Visitations often include churches, abortuaries, monasteries, convents, prisons, hospitals, nursing homes and schools.

Mission Statement

The Missionary Image of Our Lady of Guadalupe

The Essential Mission of the Apostolate of the Missionary Image of Our Lady of Guadalupe is to preach and teach the Gospel of Jesus Christ through the guidance of the Blessed Virgin Mary as the Mother of God and our Merciful Mother. The Apostolate seeks to stir into flame Faith in Jesus Christ and His Church in the hearts of all peoples and nations, to reconcile them to God and to promote and proclaim the sanctity and dignity of all human life from conception to natural death.

In our particular apostolic endeavors we seek to promote unity of all hearts under her title as Our Lady of Guadalupe, Patroness of the Americas and Protectress of the Unborn, through the Total Consecration to Jesus through Mary as taught by St. Louis de Montfort. We do this in union with the Holy Father and in obedience to the Teaching Authority of the Church fortified by prayer, fasting and the Sacraments.

Apostolate’s Mission of Evangelization for Life

Pope John Paul II in Mission of the Redeemer said, “People today put more trust in witnesses than in teachers, in experience than in teaching, and in life and action than in theories. The witness of a Christian life is the first and irreplaceable form of mission.” This is the mission of the apostolate of the Missionary Image ‑ to be witnesses for life and for Jesus, to bring conversions in the New Evangelization and to end abortion and the culture of death through the intercession of Our Lady of Guadalupe.

The Holy Father asked for a “New Evangelization.” The United States bishops entrusted this evangelization to Our Lady of Guadalupe. They said, "We entrust our commitment to giving birth with new fervor to the life of the Gospel in our hemisphere, to Our Lady of Guadalupe, Patroness of the Americas. She truly was the first Christ‑bearer, by her maternal intercession, may her faithful sons and daughters be renewed and discover afresh the joy and splendor an promise of being bearers of the good news.
