Our Lady of La Salette

I was at La Salette two years ago and went all through their books on La Salette in their store looking for what they might have in English, and didn’t find a book in English. However I recommend two books I have read with chapters on the appearance of the Virgin Mary at La Salette, “A Woman Clothed with the Sun,” by John J. Delaney and “The Many Faces of Mary, a Love Story,”(not book 2 in this set of 2) by Bob and Penny Lord. You could ask for them via interlibrary loan at you local library or order them at amazon.com, which I see sells them.
 
One of my patron-Fathers examined this, interviewed various people involved and wrote a book called The Holy Mountain of LaSalette: Pilgrimage of the Year 1854 by the Right Rev. BishopUllathorne.

It’s available online. I’ll try to find it.

You will find much more, if you read French.

I would recommend, if you can find it, A Grace Called La Salette by Father Jean Jaouen, a Missionary of La Salette. It was translated into English from the original French.

Otherwise, Light on the Mountain: The Story of La Salette by John Kennedy.
 
Thanks for identifying the books on La Salette. I am ordering several of them.
