Our Parochial Vicar has Covid

Please pray for my parish, our clergy, and especially our parochial vicar.

He is a very good and holy young priest who was sent to us at a time when our parish had been rocked by 2 different priest removals for investigation. He was actually placed with us for another reason. He had lung cancer and was placed at our parish to be near his parents. He recovered very well and has been such a light here. Then some of it started to come back.

This week we revieced an email that he had tested positive for covid. So far they say his symptoms are mild, but we are understanably concerned for him having both lung cancer and covid.

All of our priests are quarantining because they live in the same house. Please pray for all of our priests, but most especially Fr. Ryan.

Jesus, I ask in your name to please make this priest well and able to serve you on earth for years to come, if it be God’s will.
Holy Mary, St. Joseph and St. Bernadette, please intercede.

Prayer for a Miracle

God of all creation, you who spoke a simple command and brought forth light from
the darkness, I ask you now to send forth your miracle-working power to heal (DisorientingSneeze). You cleansed the lepers, opened the eyes of the blind and by
speaking a simple command, you empowered the crippled to rise up and walk.
You sent forth your life-giving power to all those in need, including those you raised from
the dead. I ask you to send forth your healing power into DisorientingSneeze Parochial Vicar’s body and give him the strength to fight his illness. I ask this through my Lord, Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen

Father please bless these holy men. May they live strong in your word and be healed by the touch and grace of the Holy Spirit. May they walk strong in God and spread the good news of your word. In your name, Jesus amen!
 
Prayers sent, may he recover like our young pastor who had to deal with it as well. He recovered but he says it is still slowing him down some.

Update: the church just emailed that he has fully recovered and the other two priests tested negative!
