Our Priest has Passed Away

Please keep him in your prayers. Today at Mass, during the announcements, I learned that the regular chaplain of our Latin Mass community passed away last Monday. Fortunately, he had one of his brother priests by his side to give him Extreme Unction and Holy Viaticum. Our chaplain was a man who was committed to preaching the truths of the Catholic faith, always emphasizing frequent Confession and Communion, and devotion to Our Lady and to Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament. He was one of the best pastors I’ve ever had. Thankfully, the Bishop wants our community to stay in existence and we will not be without priests.
