One of the ways that I battle doubt is point out that God, by never forcing but always giving man the ability to choose, has made it so that one can either choose to believe or not to believe.
For example, there are no signs or anything that say “God is fully present in the Eucharist.” Rather, God gives us the choice to believe or not to believe.
This goes for anything and everything. I don’t think there is anything in Catholic doctrine that can be “forced” upon another person.
For me, recognizing this choice and choosing God has been essential in bring me towards Him.
