Overhearing Slander

The other day I was sat on a bus and a person opposite me was slandering another person. Was it wrong for me to stay seated near this person so I could hear the slanderous things they were saying or soul I of moved to the back of the bus?

Perhaps you could have offerred a prayer in silence in that moment for their eyes and ears to be opened to serve each other instead of slander? You need to touch the pain of the world in order to be a healing force and follow Jesus.

If you had to move every time that happened you would never be able to travel on a bus at all!
