Pamphlets for Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament?

On the first Friday of every month our parish has Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament but, sadly enough, it is not well attended. I have a feeling that there are many people who do not understand what the Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament is.

I spoke to our priest and offered to buy pamphlets explaining the Exposition if he wanted and he appreciated the offer. Now I just need to come up with some sample pamphlets to get his approval on.

I found this one:“Eucharistic Adoration” - .

Has anybody seen this one? I don’t want to buy a package of 50 if this isn’t what the pastor wants. I also am not looking for perpetual adoration … just information on what the Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament is.

Does anybody know where I may find a few different pamphlets that I could show him and let him decide?

I’ve seen that one in person, and it’s just lovely. Not about perpetual adoration, necessarily, either. Go for it!

They might send you a sample if you ask, before you invest in 50 of them.

Our Sunday Visitor has a pam on Eucharistic Adoration, I believe 12 for pack of 50 but the may have better parish pricing, www.osv.com, also Fr. John Hardon has several pamphlets, his materials are distributed through www.intermirifica.org

This gives me a great start on getting some materials together. I am also going to call/email to see if I can just get one pamphet instead of 50 or 100. I’m sure that they’ve had that request before. If they won’t be able to do it for me they may be able to do it if the rectory calls directly.

Where can I obtain some phamplets called ‘Quarter of an hour Before the Blessed Sacrement’ or it is also called ‘Meditation Before the Blessed Sacrament’.

At one time you could write to a place in Kenner, LA for this, but that place is no more, or at least the letters come back.

I have looked everywhere for these phamplets.

Yes I did see that and that is the ‘prayer’ I want. I was looking for it in actual phamplet form. I have one that folds 3 ways and fits in my prayer book, but it has been copied many times before. I would love to find an original copy in this size. I have another friend who is also looking for this phamplet. I wonder when the originals were first made?

I found a place in Corning NY that does print them, but they are quite large and part of the print on the edge was gone. She said, she could not find anyplace in the country who made these phamplets.

and I will recreate them if I have a copy to go on.
I don’t even have ONE to see…how I miss seeing this
beautiful item. I only pray that since the original
source no longer produces them that they are no
longer copyrighted, if they ever were.

I have been scouring online for them for quite a long time.
and my post is years after yours… :confused:
