Papacy debates?

Hi all,

I’m looking for solid debates, written or oral, between Eastern Catholics (if possible, though Latin Catholics will do) and Eastern Orthodox on the papacy. The issues I wish to see considered include the claims to universal jurisdiction and infallibility of the Bishop of Rome.

I was looking for something shorter and more structured than a bulletin board thread, but I might as well read all twenty-plus pages of your link if you recommend that discussion as of the highest quality and as the most comprehensive…

There have been numerous threads in this forum over a period of several years. Of the more recent ones, one can be found [thread=569290]here[/thread] and another [thread=575057]here[/thread]. A search for posts on primacy and/or infallibility will yield a number of others. Of particular interest might be posts by mardukm on those subjects.

I’ve heard many find this book a fair balance and good analysis of the issue but it *is *written by an Orthodox Christian.
