Rugged Rosaries occasionally does a Random Rosary sale on Facebook where they offer a certain number of rosaries at a deep discount to the first 25 or so people to jump on it, like a flash sale. They pick the rosary for you. It’s likely a way for them to clear old inventory, experimental models etc. That’s how I got my first one, about 20 USD less than it would have cost regular.

Catholic Milestones is a Catholic family prayerfully making some of the strongest rosaries out there. We provide the option of natural stone beads! *Tight knots *550 paracord *Italian crucifixes and rosary medals *customize at no extra charge. We ship rosaries around the world every day, check us out!

What is a paracord Rosary and how does it differ from other Rosaries?

I have a paracord rosary from Rugged Rosaries and they really are tough.
Great for camping ,etc and I wear mine around my neck ( under my jacket )
when I am on my Harley.
Highly recommended

It’s made out of cord rather than wire links. Rugged Rosaries also uses big durable beads. The end result is a rosary that doesn’t break or catch on stuff and often comes in a lot of colors attractive to men (military camo, police dark blue etc). People who serve in the military, hike or just want a big durable rosary as opposed to a smaller jewelry-looking rosary buy paracord. I switched to paracord because I was tired of wire rosaries breaking or the wires getting stuck on my upholstery when the rosary slid down into the couch cushions.

Thanks. I hadn’t heard the word paracord before. All my Rosaries over the years are made with cord and wooden beads. None ever broke. I haven’t had any wire/metal ones.

Isn’t there a “Canadian” Etsy site? Or something similar?

I got mine from Etsy and it was something like US $12.

It’s the actual parachute cord with the “insides” pulled out (the inside of paracord is just multiple high-tensile threads) so it can be knotted.

I ordered a Jujube rosary bracelet with a bronze Miraculous Medal from Rugged Rosaries and love it.
I also ordered their Peace Be With You gemstone and wood rosary, made with nylon rosary twine instead of paracord from them. When I received it, there wasn’t much color variation in the beads so I sent it back for an exchange, no problems.
I also ordered a customized Auto Rosary made of paracord, which I’m waiting on.
The people at Rugged Rosaries are great to work with.

I have one and love it, though my son always steals it for camping trips.

I’ve used them, and have the Copper Rattlesnake model.

Just a word of caution, they’re bigger than they look. Mine is around 16 inches long
