Paradise - Naked?

So as we were all reminded by yesterday’s first reading, before original sin, Adam and Eve were naked (but did not know it). Are those now in heaven (paradise) naked? That is will things revert to the first pre-original sin state?

In other words, they didn’t care, and neither did God.

That has always been the picture in my head which is why I started wondering after hearing yesterday’s reading.

You have to have a body to be naked. The Resurrection hasn’t happened yet. Right now they’re disembodied souls.

Another question on the readings; who are the “offspring” of the serpent?

My understanding is that our souls will be allowed to create new bodies from different matter–“better” matter, just as Jesus was wholly Risen, but His body was different. It still bore the signs of His victory, but He was able to walk through locked doors etc. Also, the Transfiguration is a clue to this. This will mean we will be all that we can possibly be, the fullest potential that we can reach, as we will have reached our fulfillment, reason and purpose, that is, life in God the Holy Trinity. Therefore, we wont be wrestling with things like lust, shame, jealousy, etc anymore and it wont matter if we wear clothes or not. Since we will be physical though, clothes (eg white robes) may be appropriate, for more practical reasons perhaps?

I can’t speak to Heaven, as that is well outside my pay grade (and theology). I can tell you I’ve been to some pretty cool campgrounds and beaches where that sort of thing is allowed. And as you say, after a while, you really don’t notice it much.
